In keeping with the Polaris Collection's codes, the Polaris Date's lacquered dial features a dazzling blue hue. Three levels of finish—an opaline bezel, a grained index circle, and a sunray-etched center—delimit the different watch zones, highlighting each element: the orange triangle of the inner bezel, the boldly hued hour markers and numerals, and the skeletonized hands with Super-LumiNova® tips. Beneath the stainless steel caseback, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 899—designed, produced, and assembled in-house—offers a 70-hour power reserve, an undeniable advantage in a sports watch. The attractive, variable blue of the dial is matched by the blue rubber strap adorned with the Clos de Paris pattern. Adding a more modern and elegant touch to the watch, the strap is designed with an easy-to-change feature.
